| Description: | This position would be consistent with the role expected from a Piping Drafter / Designer working within the Oil and Gas industry. Depending on specific work requirements, all or any of the below tasks may apply:
Responsibilities:
• Work within the Project Team developing PFD’s, P & ID's, site plans, as-builts, detailed piping GA drawings, Isometrics and Plot Plans, based on available check list
• Follow all policies, standards and procedures
• Attend any project meetings when requested
• Maintain stickfiles and drawing filing index as directed by your lead
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills
• Good written and verbal skills
• Detail oriented
• Build positive and effective working relations with all Team members
• Suggest further development of Drafting / Designing knowledge and skill-sets via Lunch & Learn sessions, available courses and training
• Assist in other aspects of growing the Company
• Have Fun
Qualifications:
• AutoPlant training with 8-12 years of related experience
• Ideally- Engineering Design Drafting Technology (EDDT) Diploma or Process Piping Drafting (PPD) Certificate
• Above ground Pipeline Design (working with Flow Lines would be an asset)
• Steam lines experience is required.
• Working experience in Pipeline and/or Pad work in the offsite environment is preferred
• Experience in Auto CAD, Auto PLANT, CADworks (3D system) |
